Anonymous asked: how do you introduce yourself to someone new?

nintendogal55:

Uh….

XP That really changes depending on the situation. For starters, I am incredibly shy in real life and have trouble taking initiative to talk to people. I only ever end up introducing myself if they ask my name.

And I’ve lost count how many times people thought I said “Sandra.”

But online? Well, that’s a whole different ballgame. Since my username is always displayed whenever I make a post, send a message, or what have you, that essentially becomes the way I end up doing it. Plus it depends how I’m reaching them, why I’m reaching them, and so forth.

So, it heavily depends. But I always make a point to be pleasant and polite while doing so. :)

Even if I have immense trouble looking people in the eye. XP

I have the exact same problem… except I’ve lost count of how many people think I said my name was “carrot” X’D

Seriously? Carrot? My name is Cary. C-A-R-Y. Have you never seen an old movie? Cary Grant. Huge movie star. Same friggn’ name!

Agreeing to make couple OCs with someone but neither of you are allowed to show your OCs to each other until they are ready and now those two are going to get together and they must work it out no matter what

let’s do it

THAT SOUNDS REALLY FUN I WANT TO TRY WITH SOMEONE

Everyone is allowed to message me and go “let’s do this”

My submit box is always opennh

Omigosh this sounds super adorable and fun!

ionxtreme asked: I like Doctor Who as well, because 1, the storytelling is brilliant and 2. it reminds me lots of The X-Files.

The story telling is absolutely brilliant isn’t it? Personally I think it’s gone a bit down hill since the show runner switch off, but that’s a whole other rant. I just wanted to take a sec to highlight your second point there: Fuck yeah the X-Files!!!!

The monster of the week stuff that could make you scared of shadows, the conspiracy story lines played just perfectly, not to mention my absolute favorite part of the X-Files: the humor episodes X3 These were sooooo amazing, funny, dark and absurd.

All of those amazing elements and not once did they sacrifice the depth characters! If you are reading this and have never seen the X-Files, I can not recommend it highly enough. It truly has something for everyone!

Getting ready for C2E2 next month ^.^ I’m so ridiculously excited, it’s going to be my first con!!!
Check out a little preview of my Rose Tyler cosplay!

I heard that cosplaying at a con for the first time isn’t a good idea, but for your choice of outfit as Rose Tyler, that’s actually clever.
I wouldn’t have guessed you were supposed to be Rose if you didn’t say you were, so it works as a cosplay and natural clothing
Hope you enjoy yourself, never been to a con either, but I hope do so sometime :)

It reads better with Tess standing next to me dressed as the 10th Doctor

Will I be pulling any pranks today? That would be a big fat “NO.” I am so not a fan of the fact that I have to walk around for 24 hours having to question everything. I love the fun little gags here and there, don’t get me wrong (Seriously, check out the google maps app thing they got going!), but invariably every year someone always makes something that sounds really cool, and I get genuinely excited that it’ll be real, and then *poof* April Fools! So yeah. No pranks here.
